For coaches, counsellors, healers and practitioners who win clients on trust

The people who need you can’t find you yet. Here’s how to change that.

You’re working hard, you’re brilliant at what you do, and your marketing still isn’t bringing in the clients you know you could serve. Profit from Clarity is a self-paced workshop that gives you the words, the stories and the plan to change that. You’ll leave knowing your client, your message and your direction.

You’re good at what you do. So why isn’t that showing up in your results?

A practitioner at her desk, stuck and frustrated, looking at her laptop

You became a coach, a counsellor, a healer, a practitioner because you genuinely wanted to help people. You’ve trained. You’ve practised. You know your work changes lives. And yet, when you look at your client list, or your income, or the number of enquiries coming in, something doesn’t add up.

You’re putting in the effort. You’re posting, you’re showing up, you’re trying different things. But your marketing feels inconsistent, even to you. Some weeks you’re confident about what to say. Other weeks you stare at a blank page and wonder whether any of it is landing. You don’t quite know what to say, to whom, or when. So you say something, hope it resonates, and move on to the next thing.

The people who need you most aren’t finding you, and it has nothing to do with how good you are or how hard you work. Your message isn’t clear enough for them to recognise themselves in it, find you when they’re searching, or explain what you do to someone else who needs you.

Think about it this way. Imagine you’re standing behind a foggy window. You’re there. You’re real. You’re doing extraordinary work. But to the person on the other side, you’re just a shape. They can’t make out your outline clearly enough to reach for the handle. They’re not ignoring you. They simply can’t see you.

This is a clarity gap. Not a talent gap. Not an effort gap. The work you do is real and it matters. The missing piece is the clear, repeatable message that lets the right person find you, recognise themselves in what you’re saying, and choose you with confidence. That’s what we fix here.

You’ve already tried to fix this. Here’s why it hasn’t stuck.

A practitioner at a table covered in notes, tired and overwhelmed

Posting more consistently. You committed to a schedule, you showed up regularly, and still the right clients weren’t coming through. Consistency helps, but it only amplifies whatever message you’re already sending. If the message isn’t clear, more of it doesn’t solve the problem.

Refining your niche. You’ve narrowed it down, you’ve picked a target audience, maybe you’ve changed it a few times. But without a clear understanding of where your ideal client is in their thinking and what they’re actually feeling, even a well-defined niche can feel like a guess.

Rewriting your website. You’ve updated your about page, changed your headline, maybe hired someone to help. But if the clarity isn’t there before the words, the rewrite doesn’t hold. You end up with prettier words that still don’t quite say the thing.

Following marketing advice that wasn’t built for you. Most marketing training is written for product businesses or large audiences. When you win clients on trust, the rules are different. Advice that doesn’t account for how your clients make decisions, and the relationship they need to feel before they say yes, tends to fall flat.

Hoping your reputation would do the work. Referrals are wonderful, and they’re not a strategy you can rely on alone. When word of mouth slows down, you need a message that does the same job, reaching people who don’t know you yet and making them feel like they already do.

Here’s what’s actually going on

A practitioner by a sunlit window with her notebook as something clicks into place

Marketing for trust-based practices works differently to marketing for products. Your clients aren’t comparing features or prices. They’re asking a much quieter question: “Is this the person who understands what I’m going through?” If your message doesn’t answer that question quickly and clearly, they move on, even though they need you, because they couldn’t tell that you were the one.

Your offer is fine. What’s missing is a message that speaks your ideal client’s language at the exact moment they’re ready to hear it. People move through stages before they’re ready to change. They have a level of awareness about their problem and what’s possible. If your message is aimed at a different stage than where they are right now, it slides right past them.

And there’s another layer. When your message isn’t clear, you can’t repeat it with confidence. So it shifts. Your website says one thing, your social posts say another, your conversations say a third. The person who sees all three pieces doesn’t get a clear picture. They get noise. Clarity is what makes every piece of your marketing work together, so that a complete stranger can read your homepage headline and explain your work in one sentence.

The fix is knowing, with real certainty, who you serve, what they’re feeling, what they want instead, and how you take them there. When you have that, your message becomes consistent without effort. Your stories become easy to tell. Your marketing starts to feel like you, because it is.

Clarity comes from becoming clearer, never from shouting louder. When your message is clear enough for a stranger to understand and repeat, the right people start finding you.

I know this because I lived it

My own marketing used to be inconsistent. I was doing the work, I cared about the people I served, and I knew my approach got results. But my message wasn’t landing the way it needed to. I didn’t have the clarity about who I was speaking to, what I was really saying, and why it mattered enough to say it.

Getting clear on those three things is what turned it around for me. Not a new platform, not a bigger budget, not a complete rebrand. Clarity. It became the foundation of everything I now teach, and it’s the first real step I walk every practitioner through.

Introducing

Profit from Clarity

Profit from Clarity is a self-paced workshop of approximately three and a half hours, delivered as the full recordings of a live workshop I ran, with templates and worksheets included. It’s Step 2 of my 12-step Confident Prosperity path, and it’s available here as a standalone programme for practitioners who want to start with the foundation.

By the time you’ve worked through it, you’ll have a clear ideal client, a set of real stories ready to use in your marketing, your value proposition, your Message Map, your goal for the year, and a Strategic Action Plan you can act on straight away. You’ll leave knowing your client, your message, your stories and your direction.

What we cover, and why each part matters

1

Foundations

We start with the three pillars of profitable marketing, Clarity, Confidence and Connection, and where clarity sits in the Prosperity Pyramid. Then we name your ideal client with real specificity, so you know them the way you’d know a best friend. You can’t write a clear message to a vague person. This step makes the rest of the programme possible.

2

The Cycle of Change

Your ideal client moves through six stages before they’re ready to change. If your marketing speaks to someone at stage five and they’re at stage two, it won’t land. We map those stages so you can meet your client exactly where they are, which is how you earn their trust before they’ve even spoken to you.

3

Your Stories

Facts inform. Stories connect. We look at why stories are the most powerful tool in a trust-based practice, and I walk you through a simple six-part structure you can use to build your own. Then you write five to ten stories from your own life of overcoming adversity. They don’t have to be dramatic or perfect. They have to be personal, and they have to be true.

4

Your Client’s Path

We map the five levels of awareness your ideal client moves through, and the levels of connection from complete stranger through to advocate. Then we work out which of your stories belongs at which stage, so you’re always saying the right thing to the right person at the right time.

5

Your Message

We look at the left side, what your client is feeling right now, and the right side, where they want to be. Then we work out how you move them from one to the other. This is where your marketing finds its spine.

6

Your Value Proposition and Message Map

We build your value proposition and your unique method, grouping your approach into three or four named steps that make your work easy to understand and easy to remember. Then we put it all together into your Message Map, the document you’ll use from now on for as long as you remain in business, so you never start from a blank page again.

7

Your Why

We look at your values, because marketing that comes from what matters to you feels different to marketing that doesn’t. This step makes your message sustainable and true to who you are.

8

Your Goal for the Year

We set a goal that depends on you, not on anyone else’s decisions. Then we install it with a guided process so it’s not just written down but genuinely held.

9

Your Strategic Action Plan

We build your six-month and three-month goals, your weekly actions for month one, the blocks you’re likely to hit and how you’ll move past them, and the support you’ll need. You leave with a plan you can act on, not a document you’ll file away.

What you’ll have when you’re done

You’re not doing this alone

A practitioner smiling on a video call, getting helpful feedback

For your first month inside Profit from Clarity, you have me in your corner every week. Bring your Message Map, your stories, your value proposition, your Strategic Action Plan: whatever you’re working through, you can put it in front of me and get specific, real-time feedback on your actual work. That means when something isn’t clicking, you sort it out that week instead of leaving it half-finished and moving on.

This is my weekly live group coaching session, Marketing Labs, included for your first full month from the day you enrol. It’s the same session that Confident Prosperity members pay $300 AUD a month to access. You get it built into your programme so you finish what you start and leave with a message and a plan you’re genuinely ready to use.

Who’s behind this

Carrie Wallis

Carrie Wallis

Author of From Strangers to Clients

I’m Carrie Wallis, author of the bestseller From Strangers to Clients and founder of Confident Prosperity. I teach counsellors, coaches, healers and consultants how to market their work without feeling like they’re selling themselves out.

I’m a certified copywriter, a professional counsellor, a master coach and a Reiki Master, so I understand both sides: the marketing, and the person who has to show up and do it. Profit from Clarity is Step 2 of the Confident Prosperity path.

Is this for you?

It’s for you if

  • You’re a coach, counsellor, healer or practitioner and your clients choose you based on trust
  • Your marketing has been inconsistent and you’re not sure what to say or who to say it to
  • You know you’re good at what you do and your results don’t yet reflect that
  • You want a clear message and a plan you can act on, not more theory
  • You’re ready to do the work, including the parts that ask you to look at your own stories and values

It’s probably not for you if

  • You’re looking for one-to-one coaching rather than feedback in a group setting
  • You haven’t started your practice yet and don’t have a sense of who you want to serve
  • You’re not willing to write, reflect and work through the exercises
  • You want a quick fix that skips the foundation work

Questions people ask before they enrol

How is this delivered?

Profit from Clarity is self-paced, so the recordings and templates are waiting for you the moment you enrol and you can work through them at whatever pace suits you. You also get your first month of Marketing Labs included from day one: that’s my weekly live group coaching session, where you can bring your actual work and get real feedback as you build it.

How long does it take to complete?

The workshop recordings run for approximately three and a half hours. The exercises, particularly writing your five to ten stories and building your Strategic Action Plan, will take additional time depending on how deeply you work through them. You can spread it across a few sittings rather than doing it all at once.

I’ve already tried to get clear on my niche. How is this different?

Naming a niche and knowing your ideal client are related but not the same thing. In Profit from Clarity we go much further than a demographic description. You’ll understand the stages your client moves through before they’re ready to change, the levels of awareness they hold, and the specific feelings on both sides of the transformation you offer. That depth is what makes your message clear enough to land.

Do I need to be at a particular stage in my business to get value from this?

The programme works best if you’ve started your practice and have some sense of who you want to serve, even if that’s still fuzzy. If you’re very new, completing this early means you build on a solid foundation. If you’ve been in practice for years but your marketing still feels inconsistent, this is exactly where to start.

Is there a payment plan?

No. It’s one payment of $497 AUD, and you get instant access to the recordings and templates.

Here’s everything that’s included

When you enrol, you get immediate access to the full Profit from Clarity workshop and everything that goes with it.

Your clarity finally matched your brilliance

A practitioner relaxed and confident with a cup of tea in her practice room

The people who need you are out there right now, searching for exactly what you offer. The only thing standing between them and finding you is a message clear enough for them to recognise themselves in it. Profit from Clarity gives you that message, along with the stories, the plan and the tools to put it to work. Every piece of your marketing must be intentional and know its purpose. This is where that starts.
