For coaches, counsellors, healers and therapists who win clients on trust
You don’t need to be on every platform, post every day, or chase followers. You need a simple strategy that puts you in front of the right people and starts real conversations. Profit from Social Media gives you exactly that, and it fits around your clients.

You’re a skilled practitioner. People who work with you get real results. But on social media, you feel like you’re throwing things at a wall and hoping something sticks.
You post when you remember. You write something heartfelt, or share a quote, or put up a photo, and then you wait. A few likes, maybe a comment from someone who already knows you, and then silence. No enquiries. No discovery calls. Just a deflating feeling that you’re doing something wrong, but you can’t quite work out what.
And the advice doesn’t help. Every time you try to get on top of it, someone tells you you need to be on another platform, post more often, do more video, grow your following, get your engagement up. The list keeps growing and your time doesn’t. You’re a practitioner first. You have clients to serve, notes to write, a business to run. Social media is supposed to support all of that, not swallow it whole.
So you end up in the pattern most solo practitioners know well. You go through a burst of posting regularly, feel good about it for a week or two, then life gets busy and it falls away. Then the guilt kicks in, so you throw something random up just to feel like you’re doing something. No real thought behind it, no thread connecting it to anything, just posting for the sake of posting. And the whole cycle starts again.
Here’s what nobody tells you plainly: without a strategy, all that effort goes nowhere, however often you post. Social media without a plan is just noise. And the people who most need what you offer, the ones searching for someone exactly like you, scroll right past because nothing you’ve posted has told them clearly that you’re the person they’ve been looking for.
Your worth as a practitioner was never the issue. This is a strategy problem, and strategy problems have solutions.

Posting consistently for a while. You committed to showing up regularly, wrote thoughtful posts, kept it going for a few weeks. Then a busy period hit and the whole thing collapsed. You’re back to square one, and now there’s guilt on top of everything else.
Following someone else’s content formula. You tried the tips from a course or a blog, posting three times a week with a mix of personal and professional content. It felt forced and didn’t sound like you, and the results were no different.
Trying to be on multiple platforms at once. You set up profiles on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, maybe TikTok. Keeping all of them going was exhausting, so most of them went quiet, which felt worse than not having them at all.
Focusing on growing your follower count. You chased the numbers, tried the hashtags, followed people back, celebrated when the count went up. But followers don’t pay your bills, and none of those numbers translated into actual conversations with potential clients.
Waiting until you have a better plan. You told yourself you’d sort out your social media properly once things settled down, once you had more time, once you felt clearer about what to say. That day hasn’t come, and in the meantime, the people who need you can’t find you.

Most social media advice is built for product businesses, influencers, and people who have a team behind them. It’s built around volume, reach, and visibility for its own sake. That’s not your world. You’re a trust-based practitioner. The people who hire you need to feel safe with you before they’ll ever pick up the phone. That’s a completely different kind of relationship, and it calls for a completely different approach.
The practitioners who do well on social media aren’t the ones posting the most. They’re the ones who are clear about who they serve, consistent about what they stand for, and genuinely human in how they show up. They’ve chosen the right platforms for their specific clients, not all of them. They have a simple content strategy that moves people from “I have this problem” to “this person might be able to help me.” And they know how to start real conversations, not automated sequences, actual human exchanges that lead to a discovery call.
That’s a learnable system. It doesn’t require you to become a content creator or a social media expert. It doesn’t require paid advertising. It doesn’t require you to perform a version of yourself that doesn’t feel true. It just requires a clear plan, the right tools, and a clear path through it, step by step.
What changes everything is deciding, once, which platforms you’ll use, what you’ll say, how often you’ll say it, and how you’ll move someone from a follower to a conversation. Once those decisions are made, social media stops being a source of overwhelm and starts being a steady part of how your practice grows.
An imperfect plan started today is better than a perfect plan started tomorrow. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a direction and a place to start.
I’m Carrie Wallis. I’m a marketing mentor and empowerment coach for practitioners like you, and I’ve been a counsellor and coach myself. I know what it’s like to be brilliant at the work and completely overwhelmed by the business side of it.
I see the same thing again and again with the practitioners I work with. People weren’t struggling because they lacked discipline or creativity. They were struggling because the advice they’d been given wasn’t designed for them. It was designed for businesses with marketing teams and advertising budgets and an appetite for constant content production. That’s not a solo practice. That’s not you.
So I built something different. A system that starts with your clients, not the platforms. That has you choose two or three places to show up rather than trying to be everywhere. That gives you a 12-week content plan so you’re never staring at a blank screen again. That treats social media as one part of a bigger picture, not the whole answer.
I don’t want you on the content treadmill. I want you to have a presence that works while you’re doing the work you trained for. That’s what this programme is built to give you.
Profit from Social Media is a self-paced programme built from the recordings of my live workshop, with all the resources you need to put it into practice straight away. It’s Step 6 of the Confident Prosperity path, the 12-step programme I created for practitioners who want a financially sustainable practice that’s true to who they are. You can take it on its own, and fit it around your clients.
By the time you’ve worked through it, you’ll have chosen your platforms, built profiles that do the work of introducing you to strangers, created a 12-week content plan, batched a month of content, and know exactly how to start the kinds of conversations that lead to discovery calls. No paid ads. No performance. No treadmill.
Before you write a single post, you need to understand what role social media actually plays in building a trust-based practice. We look at the Prosperity Pyramid and the three pillars of Connection, Clarity and Confidence, so you can see where social media sits and what it’s meant to do. You also do a simple exercise: Google your own name and see what a stranger sees. It’s a grounding place to start.
You don’t need to be everywhere, and trying to be everywhere is one of the fastest routes to burnout. In this section you use seven practical methods to work out where your specific clients actually spend their time, including asking clients directly, looking at who they follow, exploring online communities, hashtags, forums and Q&A sites. You come away with a clear decision: two or three platforms, chosen deliberately.
Your profile is the first thing a potential client sees. We cover what makes a strong first impression, a simple formula for writing your introduction, how to write a headline under 120 characters that tells people exactly who you help, how to share your why, how to show credibility, and how to give people a clear next step. You’ll also know when a personal page serves you better than a business page.
This is where strategy comes in. You’ll plan content that takes people through three stages: recognising their problem, seeing that solutions exist, and finding your free gift or gateway offer. You’ll build this out on a 12-week positioning calendar, with your free gift promoted in week four. This is the section that turns random posting into purposeful communication.
Good strategy needs good content. We go into what it means to be yourself on social media, how to create a space where your audience feels safe, how to use varied formats and visuals, how to show your services without it feeling like a sales pitch, how to use hashtags well, and how to make your social media a two-way conversation rather than a broadcast.
This is the section most practitioners are missing. You’ll learn how to invite people to your free gift, how to use groups, how to celebrate client success in a way that attracts new clients, and the conversation method: genuinely engaging with someone’s posts over time, then a direct message that comes from real interest, then, after a few exchanges, an invitation to a discovery call. Be human, not a sales person. No one likes a taker.
The final section is about making all of this sustainable. You’ll learn how to batch-create a month of content in one sitting, how to schedule it, how to repurpose what you’ve already made, and how to measure what actually matters instead of chasing vanity metrics like follower counts.

For your first month inside Profit from Social Media, you have me available every week to look at what you’re actually building. Bring your profiles, your content calendar, your drafted posts, your conversations: whatever you’re putting together, you can get specific feedback on it in real time so you know it’s working before you put it out into the world.
This is Marketing Labs, my weekly live group coaching session, included for your first full month from the day you enrol. It’s the session at the heart of the Confident Prosperity membership, and it’s here so you finish the programme with a social media presence that’s ready to go, not a folder of half-done ideas you’re not quite sure about.

Author of From Strangers to Clients
I’m Carrie Wallis, author of the bestseller From Strangers to Clients and founder of Confident Prosperity. I teach counsellors, coaches, healers and consultants how to market their work without feeling like they’re selling themselves out.
I’m a certified copywriter, a professional counsellor, a master coach and a Reiki Master, so I understand both sides: the marketing, and the person who has to show up and do it. Profit from Social Media is Step 6 of the Confident Prosperity path.
It helps enormously if you do. This programme works best when you’re already clear on who you serve and what you stand for. If you’re still working that out, Profit from Clarity (Step 2 of the Confident Prosperity path) is the better starting point. Once you have that clarity, Profit from Social Media will make much more sense and be far more effective.
The programme isn’t built around one specific platform. Instead, it helps you work out which two or three platforms are the right fit for you and your clients, and then gives you a strategy you can apply to any of them. The principles work on whichever platforms your clients use.
No. This programme covers organic social media only. You won’t need an advertising budget. Paid ads are a separate topic and a later step in the Confident Prosperity path.
The programme is self-paced, so you work through it when it suits you. The goal is that by the time you’ve finished, you’ll have a system in place that takes far less ongoing time than what you’re doing now, because you’ll be working from a plan rather than making it up as you go.
Yes. Your first month includes Marketing Labs, my weekly live group coaching session, where you can bring your profiles, posts and content for real-time feedback. After your first month, ongoing support and access to Marketing Labs continues inside the Confident Prosperity membership if you choose to join.
That’s actually very common, and it’s usually because the strategy wasn’t built for a trust-based practice. Most social media advice is designed for product businesses or people with large teams and advertising budgets. This programme is built specifically for practitioners like you, where the relationship comes before the sale, and where being human matters more than being prolific.
When you enrol, you get immediate access to the full programme and all the resources below. Work through it in the order that suits you.

$497 AUD, one payment.
Want both?
Two complete programmes, bought together at a saving of $197 AUD. Start with clarity, then take it straight to social media. One month of Marketing Labs is included.
Self-paced, with instant access. Profit from Social Media is Step 6 of the Confident Prosperity path, and it’s included in the Confident Prosperity membership.

Right now, somewhere, the people who most need what you offer are searching. They’re looking for someone they can trust, someone who understands what they’re going through, someone who feels like the right fit. If your social media presence isn’t telling them clearly that you’re that person, they’ll keep scrolling. Profit from Social Media gives you the strategy, the tools and the plan to change that. Not by becoming someone you’re not, not by posting every day until you burn out, but by showing up with purpose, in the right places, in a way that’s true to who you are. Success on social media requires strategy, engagement and persistence. This is where the strategy starts.
